Shanti Benoit
Shanti Benoit has over a decade of experience in facial aesthetics. She began working as an RN for an oculoplastic surgeon where she became experienced in administering cosmetic injections, skin care and laser treatments. In this surgical setting she found her passion for aesthetic medicine and decided to pursue her dreams of becoming a Nurse Practitioner.

Shanti has since worked with a general plastic surgeon where she assisted in the operating and recovery rooms. She always strives to understand individual needs and concerns while naturally making patients feel comfortable and at ease during treatments and procedures. Once she graduated with her Nurse Practitioner license she took time to backpack around the world while keeping a daily journal for the benefit of other aspiring travelers, which she published in a travel blog. She has visited 28 countries spanning six continents. After the 2019 year of travel, she returned to work in the industry she loves and settled close to family in the South Puget Sound. In her free time she still enjoys hiking, traveling, skiing, climbing, and spending time with her family and friends.
Heather Grods
Heather Grods has been in the medical field since 2007 starting her journey in the Air Force as a medic. She has been in aesthetics since 2018 and is skilled in cosmetic injections, lasers, and skin health.

Heather completed her undergraduate and graduate degree at Seattle Pacific University in Seattle, Washington. She continued to build on the skills gained from the military and practiced as a bedside nurse in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit at the VA Hospital in Seattle, WA for 7 years before earning her Masters’s Degree in Nursing and becoming an ARNP.

As her career progressed, she found aesthetic medicine and was able to fulfill a lifelong passion that combined science and beauty. Heather is a compassionate provider and believes in delivering safe, natural, and effective results for her patients. Heather comes from a military family and grew up all over the world. She continues to serve in the Washington Air National Guard as a nurse. She is very close to her family and is married to an extremely loving husband and has two beautiful daughters. She is happiest when she is in service to others whether it’s in a military capacity or aesthetic medicine helping people highlight their innate unique beauty.

Jeni Bartell, Master Aesthetician at Northwest Medical Arts

JENI BARTELL

Jeni entered the Medical Esthetics field in 2013 as a second career, having worked formerly as an Educator for 15 years.

After years of battling her own issues with adult cystic acne, and with minimal results from treatments, she decided her best approach was to get education and learn what really works!  Since then, she has found great joy in helping hundreds of clients address and treat a variety of skin issues as well as learn how to maintain healthy, glowing skin as we age. Jeni would say her passion is providing excellent, results-based treatments as well as helping clients navigate the confusing, and at times, conflicting world of skin care products and procedures.  As a mother of two young adult sons, she also loves to provide education and treat teen acne, understanding the impact of healthy skin on self-confidence in young people.

At NW Medical Arts, Jeni can be booked for: Skin Consultations,  Medical Facials, Acne Facials, Diamond Glow Facials, Chemical peels, Micro-needling and BBL laser treatments, as well as Halo Skin Resurfacing.

Leslie, front desk staff at Northwest Medical Arts in Tacoma, WA

Leslie

Leslie Bratsanos is a familiar face to local aesthetics clients with over 10 years of service at award-winning medical spas. With an eye for the creative and a background in interior design and hospitality, Leslie ensures that Northwest Medical Arts looks its best so patients can feel their best. If you love the look inside our spa, it is likely thanks to Leslie’s meticulous attention to detail and her vision for creating a space where you feel at home – no small feat for a medical practice! When Leslie isn’t working the front desk or planning events for Northwest Medical Arts, she is managing properties in Seattle, Palm Desert and Greece, where she spends summers with her family. Fun fact: Leslie lives above Alki Beach and is a Seattle commuter, just like so many of our clients! If you see a bright smile, cool dark glasses and a long mane of raven hair at the front desk (usually pulled back into a bun), you’ll know you are at the right place. While not at work, you’ll find Leslie navigating mom life with humor, compassion and a Diet Coke.
